What happens in January anyway?

I just realized what a slow start we are having to our year. We did not take one single picture in January. WOW what slackers! So here are a few from December. I will get back in action soon!

10 years ago today...
I was a junior at Alta Loma High School. This time of year I was likely getting ready for King's Ball. I'm pretty sure that I went with Eric Taggart that year. I was living at home (of course) and likely working for my Dad.

5 things on my to-do list today:
1. Fix Car
2. Collection Calls for work
3. Send out Playgroup email
4. Get ideas for our Anniversary getaway (any ideas???)
5. Laundry

I enjoy:
Pedicures (I really want one right now), getting mail (handwritten is best, but emails are great too), talking on the phone, managing my bank accounts, looking at old photos, fixing things, problem solving, going shopping and then returning it, writing in my journal, listening to my girls talk in sentences, One Tree Hill, speaking Spanish, surprises, girls night out, my husband doing dishes, chocolate, massages, Hallmark specials, and on and on and on.

What would I do if I were suddenly made a billionaire?
I would buy a house, a new car, and the Pottey Barn collections. I would donate to OSSO (the orphanage program I volunteered with). I would end world hunger and clothe the poor (sorry I'm getting carried away)! It would be great if a billion dollars could do that. I would definitely travel anywhere I wanted. I would hire a personal chef and a personal shopper. I would buy Target, IKEA, American Eagle, and a few others. I would save some for post-baby years for some surgical repair (ha ha).

Crazy Climbers

Our lives have recently changed dramatically due to the fact that the twins are now able to climb out of their cribs. It has caused a few tears (shed by me), a few bruises (from graceful falls), but also some VERY funny moments (there's always a silver lining)! I tell you, it is so hard to discipline with a straight face sometimes. I am sure that some of you parents can relate...

Tim and I were enjoying a movie downstairs when the girls decided to invite themsleves. We couldn't help but laugh for a bit (while they enjoyed the snacks) especially at Rylee's accessory she felt was necessary to put on with her pajamas.

Definitely the best for last! I promise that our child was clothed before placed in her own crib. However, this is how I found her while checking in on the quiet gals. What will be next?

Since it may take me yet another month to post again, I should get it all done now right!!! Here are some recent family pics.

Random, yet very Cool!

Not too many of us can say they have Great Grandparents still living, yet I can. And this means our girls can say they have TWO Great Great Grandmothers still alive and going strong. I've just been thinking about how seriously amazing that really is. Can you imagins what you would do and see in 100 years? Anyhow- here's our five generation picture taken in Costa Mesa this month.

Grandpa Rambow Visited

The Flintstones Rock (& other October moments)

October was a GREAT month for the Rambow family.
We took several trips to the pumpkin patch,


took the girls to Disneyland (already posted), and had a blast celebrating Halloween.


I set out to make our costumes this time, and I must say, we had a great time dressing up as a family. I may add October to my "favorite months" list!
